Dr. Justice Vineet Kothari while branching out from BM Kothari & Co. an established accounting and auditing firm started legal practice in 1984. Dr. Kothari apart from holding a Ph.D. in Taxation and Masters in Law (LL.M.) is also a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) and a Company Secretary (CS), having graduated from the Faculty of Commerce B.Com. (Hons.), he did his LL.B. from Jodhpur and practiced predominantly on the Tax and Commercial side. He also had a large practice on Constitutional and Administrative law side. After having practiced and being a member of Bar for nearly 20 years he was elevated as Judge of Rajasthan High Court in 2005. Justice Kothari during his term of more than 16 years as Judge of High Court, served four major High Courts of the country namely, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Madras and Gujarat. He also served as Acting Chief Justice of Madras and Gujarat High Court. He retired as Acting Chief Justice of Gujarat High Court on 1st September 2021. Justice Kothari is also an Honorary Director of IATJ (International Association of Tax Judges) and a member CMJA (Commonwealth Magistrates’ and Judges’ Association), London. He has contributed papers at National and International Conferences on International Taxation and other allied subjects at various places including Amsterdam, Helsinki, London, Brisbane, etc. After having retired as Acting Chief Justice of Gujarat High Court he has resumed practice and is now heading the law practice of the firm. He is also now empanelled as an Arbitrator with all major HCs of the country including Delhi, Bombay, Madras, Karnataka, Gujarat, Rajasthan. He is also on the panel of Arbitrators of the prestigious Nani Palkiwala Arbitration Centre (NPAC), ICA, Delhi etc. He is also on the esteemed panel of DIAC (Dubai International Arbitration Centre) and SIAC (Singapore International Arbitration Centre) as an Arbitrator.

Mr. Vinay Kothari obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) (Hons.) from the prestigious National Law University (NLU), Jodhpur along with a graduation in Business Administration (B.B.A.). He did his Masters in Law (LL.M.) from the coveted Kings College, London. He joined the Bar in year 2007, after having an enriching and resourceful work experience with a variety of International and some of the major law firms of the country. He also groomed his skills while working with the then Attorney General of India, he also had an opportunity to work two senior Supreme Court Judges of the country. Having spent nearly 15 years at the Bar he now regularly appears before various Courts, Tribunals, forums across the country. Vinay is a panel counsel for Rajasthan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences and Urban Improvement Trust, Bikaner (for the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India). He is also a Panel lawyer for the Hon’ble Rajasthan High Court for Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd. (ONGC), Hindustan Petroleum Corp. Ltd. (HPCL), Bharat Petroleum Corp. Ltd. (BPCL), National High Authority of India (NHAI), Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), National Stock Exchange (NSE), Jodhpur Development Authority (JDA), Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd. (JdVVNL), Rajasthan State Industrial Development & Investment Corporation Ltd. (RIICO). He is also a retainer and standing counsel to various Corporates and Trusts

Mr. Pradeep Singh Khichi graduated from the prestigious National Law University at Patiala and obtained his degree of B.A. LL.B. (Hons.). He enrolled with the Bar in 2019. He has been regularly appearing before the Hon’ble Rajasthan High Court and various other subordinate Courts and Tribunals. He is handling matters involving multi-disciplines of law relating to taxation, company law and other civil-law related issues.

Mr. Ayush Goyal has recently graduated from the esteemed NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad with the degree of B.A. LLB (Hons.). He has joined us recently and is the youngest member of our team. His prior internship experiences includes working with Mr. Siddhant Buxy, AoR, Supreme Court, Keystone Partners, Bengaluru, Law office of Panag and Babu, Bengaluru. He has experience of researching and drafting on various issues and is keenly interested in matters relating to criminal, civil and commercial laws.

Mrs. Lucky Agarwal graduated from the prestigious Nirma University at Ahmedabad and obtained her degree of B.Com. LL.B. (Hons.). She enrolled with the Bar in 2022. She is a new addition to the team. She has internship experience with various law firms including Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Samwad Partners, Dua Associates and HAS Advocates. With her keen interest and past experience in Corporate Laws, Arbitration, Competition Law, IBC & Civil Laws she is presently working in the said areas of the law with firm.

Mr. Gautam Yadav graduated from National Law University, Jodhpur in 2022 with the degree of B.A. LL.B. (Hons.). His previous internship experiences include working with HSA Advocates in their New Delhi office, Capstone Legal in Jaipur and Law Care Legal Consultants in Jaipur. He has extensive research and drafting experience across a broad spectrum of legal issues and is interested in developing his expertise further in taxation laws.
